Today was a monster difference compared to the past few days! Today, I OWNED IT!!! I started out strong with 20 minutes on the Air Walk Trainer followed by some pullbacks with the 25 reps with the green and red resistance bands.
After work, I still had a ton of energy and hopped on the glider again for 10 minutes, still had energy, and attempted to use the 5 pound dumbbells. I did 10x reps of bicep curls, 10x reps of overhead triceps extension, and 10x reps of side press, which was harder on my right arm, so I didn’t go very high. After these exercises, I still had energy to spare!

Sooo I decided to do the 10 minute buns workout, and holy Hanna-Barbera did I feel the burn on those! I did smaller movements but completed the 10 minutes and STILL had more energy in my whole body, so I moved on and did 10 minutes of the ab workout! That one was snap crackle pop ROUGH! My knees cracked, my abs were screaming, but I did it!!!
What an accomplishment today. I haven’t done anything close to this in over a year. Today was the biggest win so far for me. I am writing this now and I still feel like I can do more. I feel absolutely amazing! Of course, there is that fear of waking up with an injury or excessive pain that will sideline me because of my previous experiences as I mentioned before, but I’m sure with time that feeling will subside. For now, I am super elated, overjoyed, and euphoric!!! Looking at my food and wellness planner and seeing written on paper all that I did today just feels awesome. I did the workouts cautiously and carefully and did not push past what my body could do. I felt the surge of energy and I went with it modifying and doing smaller movements while giggling out loud with sheer excitement that I was doing anything at all considering how wiped out my body was the past few days.
For me, each day can be different in how my body and mind feel, how my stomach is, how much energy I have and whether I can push myself or am forced to rest. This is why, when I DO have energy, I try my best to take advantage of it as I did today.
Until tomorrow!!! Day 15 in the books and one day close to being fit, healthy and strong to enjoy all 4 days at Comic Con this year!!!!
