I have to admit that I dragged this morning. The exhaustion has been hitting me hard lately, and today was no exception. Was it the Colace I had to take last night? The worry about the drastic change in my digestion and bowel issues? The stress of the work week? Finances? Who knows. I have been putting my best foot forward in my upteenth time restarting my quest to get to a daily workout routine to get strong again.
With this in mind, I washed my face and applied a cold compress afterward to fully wake up. I answered a few work emails and hopped on that glider with a 90s playlist that reminded me of simpler times in high school and college. This helped me keep going to complete 21 minutes before breakfast.
After the day continued, I was a bit more stressed and noticed more pain and pressure in my lower abdomen so the worry set in and I got on the glider after dinner for 17 minutes to distract myself a bit and help digest my food followed by a few reps with the resistance bands.
Day 21 in the books and here’s to hoping tomorrow and the days that follow, my irritable stomach and irritable bladder feel better because I don’t want to be sidelined again.
