I was worried how I would wake up this morning after overdoing it yesterday despite initially not feeling any pain or discomfort, only to end the day waddling around with a cane for support. However, I woke up in good spirits and with very minimal soreness!!!
This of course was NOT a green light for me to get on the Air Walk Trainer. Nope, I instead focused on other items like getting my first new inspirational video to post on this website.
After that I did get on the mat to do some gentle yoga for my stomach and added in some pelvic floor exercises to stretch those muscles before I can go to an actual therapist as recommended by the Urologist. (more on that next month).
I continued taking advantage of the energy I had and made Bi Bim Bap (recipe to be posted tomorrow) and sat down with my loved ones to watch the replay of WWE Night of Champions. The pain overall was minimal and tolerable today, so for that I am happy. I’m alway most grateful though, when I am really able to take advantage of my days off and actually DO things. Anything like reading, cooking, going out for a stroll with my mama, exercising, feng shui…etc…It’s all a welcome win after soo much pain and exhaustion over the past few years for different reasons.
I expect more of these days in my future as I get stronger and healthier. But, as I have mentioned before any activity even if it’s small, is a win. They say “don’t sweat the small stuff” which is true, but you should also celebrate the small wins when you can.
Another day in the books, Carpe Diem my Phoenixes!!! You got this!!
