Fitness Check In: Day 40

With my right wrist feeling a bit strained, I decided not to do any yoga today and just did the Quick Fix Abs and Buns workout that were 10 minutes each, plus the glider for 15 minutes and 30x reps of the green and red resistance bands. Through all of the workouts, I did feel happy and pleased that I have been pushing myself a bit to keep going with at least some form of exercise. However, my body has been a bit tired and the more workouts I do, the more my back hurts, which I can help with stretches, but the bladder issues are harder to deal with.

I am truly hoping that the new gynecologist I’m seeing on Monday can give me an answer as to whether or not I indeed have pelvic floor dysfunction as the Urologist suggested and if I need physical therapy to loosen the tight pelvic muscles. Based on prior experience with gynos, I don’t have much faith, but maybe I’ll have some luck this time.

My goal is to keep exercising and adding on more hard workouts in the weeks to come, but with this issue, it’s been a bit harder to manage what to add now since the exercises, even yoga, makes me feel tight everywhere. Nevertheless, I will continue keeping my body active even if I have to go back to DDPY Bedflex or the Chair workouts. NEVER GIVE UP is what Cena always had on his shirt and towel he carried around before he became a heel and that is exactly what I will keep doing until I find out what’s going on.

The waiting is the frustrating, the uncertainty…unnerving, but right now this is not something I can control. My worrying is only taking away today’s happiness. So for now, I am just grateful that I was able to go to the Chiropractor on my lunch hour today after months of not being able to go and that I got a quick workout in..

Day 40 is in the books!!! WOOHOO, now it’s time for dinner, a heating pad for the pain, and some well deserved rest after a long week. Until tomorrow my Phoenixes, if today sucked, remember tomorrow is a new day and you got this!!!
