Fitness Progress Check-In Day 7

I watched the movie Office Space on cable well after I graduated college on Comedy Central and well before I started working at a corporate desk job so, while I found the movie to be funny, it wasn’t really relatable to me….yet. Now, I TOTALLY get it when they said “Sounds like someone has a case of the Mondays”. I totally felt that this morning.

Was in NO mood to get up to work, let alone get on that air walk trainer or what I like to call my “Glider” machine. However, I thought of my goal of going to NY Comic Con which I have been going to for about 10 years now and going pain free. I want to be able to walk without the pain and without having to sit or go home early.

My other goal is to dress up as WWE Superstar Chelsea Green. I have cosplayed in the past and went as Rhea Ripley but it just didn’t translate as well as I would have liked. This was definitely due to the fact that I was not physically fit to do so.

At the time I had the bicep tear, tendonitis, bursitis and shoulder impingement, so I was in a ton of pain and not really able to walk but I enjoyed myself as Comic Con is the one time a year I get to be someone else. The one time I year that I get to feel like a kid again for at least 4 days.

So with that in mind, I got up and got on that glider and did 17 minutes at the very least, 40 pullbacks with the resistance band, plus another 8 minutes late afternoon and 12 minutes after dinner. A pain-free Comic Con is what I yearn to achieve this year!
