Anyone who has a part-time or full-time job will tell you, they really look forward to their days off. It’s a chance to unwind, run errands, spend time with family, dive into your hobby or just relax. My issue these days is the exhaustion that lingers into my weekends at times and leaves me taking naps to get enough energy to get a workout in or to just spend time with my family.
This time, my energy was sapped due to some Tarragon I got from a Korean supermarket. The leaves were longer and thicker and it was labeled Tarragon but the taste was slightly different so maybe it the container was mislabeled? I doubt it was, but it did a MAJOR number on my stomach. The cramps and pain that followed after using it in the dish for dinner were brutal Friday night, which led to me being wiped out yesterday and today.
I did manage to get a workout in on the glider for 25 minutes yesterday, so the weekend wasn’t a total bust. Today I just did not have it in me and figured maybe I can at least take one day out of the week to rest.
Next week will be a super busy one starting with tomorrow morning since I am hoping my gyno can confirm whether or not I have pelvic floor dysfunction or not and if not, what other tests need to be done to determine the pain and issues with my bladder. This is all in addition to getting a mammogram to make sure all is good. Whatever the case, getting these appointments out of the way to figure it all is important so I can go a bit harder and longer in my future workouts.
Until tomorrow’s check in my Phoenixes. Don’t forget, you got this!!!
